The YSRCP senior leader and superstar Krishna’s brother Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao announced his resignation from the party. Mr. Rao announced his resignation hours before the conclusion of YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy Praja Porata Yatra.
Despite stating that Mr. Rao quit YSRCP stating personal reasons, it is believed that the denial of an MP ticket from Guntur might be the reason behind the senior leader’s exit from the party.
Party insiders claim that Adiseshagiri was offered a Vijayawada parliament seat instead. Though Mr. Rao has not announced his future political plans.
