TDP Anakapalli MP Avanti Srinivas is said to be upset with the leadership and rumours have it say that he is likely to quit the party. The main reason being Avanti wants to contest for the assembly and sometime back he conveyed the same to chief Chandrababu Naidu. However, the Telugu Desam boss is yet to take a call on this and delay in a decision has upset Avanti. Thereby rumours are making headlines in the constituency that he is going leave TDP soon. Avanti went on to express his unhappiness before his sympathizers that party has done nothing for him being a senior.
In 2009 Avanti contested from Bheemli on Praja Rajyam Party ticket. After the dissolution of PRP into Congress, Avanti continued as MLA and before 2014 elections, he shifted to TDP and also got Parliament ticket. Not just Avanti, there are many MPs in TDP who want to contest for the assembly this time. Chandrababu needs to counsel his leaders ahead of the elections.
