Kerala floods: TS Govt announces Rs 25 crore aid

Announcing Rs 25 crore financial assistance to the flood-hit Kerala, the Telangana government on Friday released a statement, according to which the amount will be sent to Kerala immediately.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed Chief Secretary SK Joshi to ensure the same and asked the officials to despatch R.O machines worth Rs 2.50 crore as the drinking water is getting polluted due to floods in Kerala.

KCR has also appealed to the businessmen, industrialists, and others to come forward to help the people of Kerala.

Arrangements will be made to send the donations given to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Kerala.
