Former Speaker of United Andhra Pradesh, Nadendla Manohar is all set to resign for the Congress Party. Buzz in the Political circles is that he will be joining Pawan Kalyan‘s Janasena Party. Manohar is mostly away from politics after losing in 2014 elections. He is confining himself only to occasional Press meet every couple of months.
But he reportedly saw no future in the party and is going towards Janasena Party now. Nadendla Manohar is the one who chaired the Assembly when AP Reorganization Bill was taken up in the Assembly. Sources say that he was expecting to be made as the PCC President for AP Congress Unit. But then, the Party high command has hinted that there will be no leadership change until the completion of the 2019 elections and so Manohar is drifting away from the party. Manohar represented the Tenali Constituency of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh in 2004 and 2009 General elections.
